A Crazy Day
Well, I guess you truly never know what tomorrow is going to bring and I am sure thankful that I don't! Last night between the hours of midnight(when I went to bed) and 6:30(when I got up), some body/or bodies threw a brick through my car window and stole my purse! So this morning, I walked out to my car to leave for work, only to find a huge mess....oh, and I will add that it was POURING rain!! So the inside of my car was soaked, the glass was everywhere(especially in the front seats), a huge brick was sitting on the inside of my car, my center console(where you would put drinks) was broken, and the dumbies couldn't even hit my window on the first try....leaving a dent above my window! So I had to call and cancel my credit cards, call the dispatcher, wait for the police, drive my car over to Massner's(I put a garbage bag on time of my seat so I didn't "sit" on glass) so I could put it in the garage, clean it all out, get insurance figured out, find a ride to and from work, and try to get myself put back together! So it was quite a full day!!!:) Needless to say, I guess I learned my lesson on leaving my purse in my car....even if I am in a small town and parked way off the road!:) I was truly amazed how hopeless you feel and how much you are handicapped when you don't have your purse or a car....:) Anyway, an update on my crazy life....:) haha

Howdy Friends!!!
Thought I should update everyone on ms. traveler's life. :) haha....well it seems like that is what most people tend to call me these days... Two weekends ago, my cousin Stephanie Massner graduated high school, so I helped out with her party on Saturday, then right after the party, I hitched my horse, slapped on my cowboy hat and galloped my way to CP (Cissna Park) were I spent the rest of the weekend with some great CP friends on some OH friends!!:) This past weekend I went to Bluffton, IN for Sarah Gerber & Justin Dubach's wedding. We had supper & singing Saturday night, then I stayed with Angie Manz(Junction is a little over an hr from Bluffton). Sunday morning we drove back to Bluffton for the wedding/reception. After that, we drove back to Junction and got in on the rest of their single invite weekend!! So we did alot of driving back and forth, but it was a blast!! I came home Monday after breakfast and got home at 2(Can't remember the last time I got home from a weekend and still had time to relax before work on Monday!!) Monday night I went to Wagenbach's and played some softball & then went to Reilly & Katie's for dessert. It was alot of fun!! Now back to work.........
I am super excited to go home this weekend for my little brother's graduation!!! And even more excited that I will have someone to ride with me on the way up!!!! Thanks Ross Ascheman:)

Engagement
Well, as most of you know, Lena Steiner was announced to Matt Wyss this past Sunday. Some of you might remember that she was planning on moving down to Oakville and living with me in June. Obviously plans changed... I am really happy for both of them, even though I am really going to miss having her live with me. Wish them both the best! God knows the plans He has for us...

Faithful Love
Faithful love flowing down from the thorn-covered crown,
Makes me whole, saves my soul,
Washes whiter than snow.
Faithful love calms each fear, reaches down, dries each tear;
Holds my hand when I can't stand on my own.
(Chorus)
Faithful love from above
Came to earth to show the Father's love.
And I'll never be the same,
For I've seen faithful love face to face,
And Jesus is His name!
Faithful love is a friend just when hope seems to end,
Welcome face, sweet embrace,
Tender touch filled with grace.
Faithful love, endless power, living flame, Spirit's fire;
Burning bright in the night, guiding my way!
No matter where life takes us, no matter how uncertain the future may seem; God is faithful. His love for us is so great!! As a Christian, it seems like our lives are a lot more uncertain, because we rely on God and sometimes He asks us to do things that seem illogical. But I am so thankful that I can just rely on God for direction. Because trying to make a decision without God, would be painful, and if we made a mistake it could really hurt us. But with God, there is no mistakes and everything is delicately laid out for us in His plan!

Another one bite's the dust...
We also had an engagement this past weekend!! Whitney Wagenbach to Michael Roth from Congerville. I am really excited for the both of them, but I am really going to miss having Whitney here!!
Catch up
Last weekend I went to Kansas City for an invite weekend. I stayed with Galen & Shannon Kellenberger and their two adorable little girls! There were three other sisters that stayed there. I would have to say we got the royal treatment...or me and Julie Roth did...:-) we both received 1/2 hr massages from an amazing massage chair, then slept on a memory foam bed!!! Ahh....so relaxing!!! There was a group of 9 from Oakville that went, so we drove the 15p, which was a lot of fun!! And other than a little miscommunication about where to exit....driving through the grass median....finding out you pulled the stunt a little too soon....missing the exit on the opposite side....finding muddy path....taking that....almost getting stuck with the 15p....flinging mud as we drove off...and barley making our exit again... It was a very enjoyable trip!! Well to everyone the incident was very humorous...as all of the back-seaters were dying with laughter....except the driver, who was shaking in their shoes.... No need to say the driver's name.
Then just this past weekend was invite-a-friend in Oakville/Burlington. I had Leah Berry, Tricia Bauman, Rita Wulf, and Kayla Feuchtenberger. We did Cold Stone style ice cream again Saturday night, which was once again a great success!!! Sunday we went to Burlington in the morning and Oakville in the afternoon. Leah and Tricia had to leave right after church, which was a little sad, but I am glad that they could come!!! After church there was a nursing home singing, I took Rita and Kayla to see the new church, then went back down to the fellowship hall for supper & singing. Rita and Kayla left Monday morning, I am really glad that they were able to spend some more time with me!
I will have to post the pictures at a later time....
