Staying Home

Yes, I am sure all of you are shocked by this title! As am I...as am I. Since my last post I have gone ANYWHERE!!!! Well...except two evenings during the week that I popped over to Washington, IL for a couple of showers for Matt & Lena. Still...that would make THREE weekends in a ROW of being in Oakville!!!!!!!!!!! I honestly couldn't remember the last time that happened....so I decided to check my handy-dandy calendar to figure it out....it was last July around the exact same time!!! So the first weekend I was here, a bunch of Princeville girls were here, I kept 2 of them and then a couple girls from OH who were here for a Steiner reunion.  The second weekend I was here, I had absolutely nothing going on! Other than, Sunday night was the sunday school picnic.  Then this past weekend was the wedding of Whitney Wagenbach and Michael Roth.

Memories

Well the last few weeks have been so full of memories!!! :) The last week in June, I went on a sister's trip to Michigan with several other girls.  At the peak, there was 14 girls!! We stayed at a "cottage" on a lake all week!!  It was amazing and so fun to spend time with all of them and get to know them better!!  I got back from the trip Saturday night just in time to change and head to a singing shower for Alicen & Whitney.  Then Sunday morning I headed to Princeville for Hannah Schick's baptisms, then spent the rest of the day/eve with Amber & the Steffens!  Tuesday night some of the Steffen's and Amber came out for fireworks....and they didn't leave here until 2 AM...opps...:) So they didn't get back until 4:30!!! Then for the 4th, I went to Wagenbach's for lunch and played instruments for awhile.  Afterwards I trucked back out to Princeville. :) We went to Panera for supper & then headed to fireworks in Pekin.  It was Olivia, Charelle, & Ethan Steffen, Amber Ehnle, Kendra Wuthrich, Kourtney, Kami, & Kaylie Stahl, and Clayton Blunier.  The fireworks were awesome!!! After which we went to Walmart....bought two things of ice cream and spoons, and sat out in the parking lot eating it!! :) Then we headed back to the Steffen's for the night. I will hopefully get some pictures up soon!!!  Looking forward to having alot of the Princeville girls in Oakville this weekend!!! It will be my first time back in Oakville on a Sunday since Invite-a-friend (which was the last weekend in April)...haha....:)
